About CertiFlyers

Safety training built for the hangar floor

CertiFlyers makes short, practical safety courses for aircraft maintenance technicians, and keeps the record their employer needs: who is trained, and in what.

Who we are

An independent training company for aircraft maintenance.

CertiFlyers LLC is an independent training company based in Las Vegas, Nevada. We make online safety and maintenance courses for the people who work on aircraft, and for the repair stations, maintenance schools and quality teams who keep their training records.

Every course is short, built on the regulation or standard it teaches, and comes with a one-page Hangar Card for the workstand. When technicians pass, they get a certificate anyone can check with its QR code. A company that runs its training on CertiFlyers sees it on its training record.

How a course is made

From the regulation to your phone.

  1. Start from the sourceEach course is built on the regulations and standards it cites, such as FAA advisory circulars and OSHA standards. The course page lists them.
  2. Write for the jobShort modules built around hangar situations, a quiz on what matters, and a one-page Hangar Card for the workstand.
  3. Check against the sourceWe review every course against the regulations and standards it cites, and correct it when the review finds something.
  4. Keep it currentWhen a regulation or standard changes, we update the course.

What a certificate says

Clear about what it is, and what it isn't.

It is

  • A record that a named person completed a course and passed its quiz, with the date it was issued.
  • Checkable by anyone, at any time, with the QR code on the certificate.
  • Kept on the company's training record when an employer runs its training on CertiFlyers.

It isn't

  • An FAA certificate or rating. CertiFlyers is an independent training provider, not an FAA-approved program.
  • Affiliated with the FAA, EASA or OSHA.
  • A replacement for your quality system: your QA team decides how a course counts in your training program.
